* Overview of duties
"• Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying the brand mindset
• Assists the Spa Manager to ensure that the resort provides exceptional levels of guest service throughout the guests’ Wellness experience at Spa
• Assists the Spa Manager to train, check and follow up with staff to ensure that they provide consistent quality treatment to guests
• Applies the brand's quality standards (SOP)"
* Main responsibilities
Customer relations
• Greet and welcome guests to the Spa Lounge
• Present and visible in the lobby
• To establish good guest relations and rapport
• Handles any customer objections, comments or complaints; provides a response as soon as possible while the guest is still at the hotel
• Anticipates guest’ need and takes them into consideration. Handles guests’ requests for information and provides answers
Professional techniques / Production
1. Assist the Management to manage and ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Department
2. Study, evaluate and suggest improvements for operational procedure
3. Check work performance and grooming standards of subordinates
4. Always seek to sharpen knowledge of the human body and appropriate Massage / Therapy techniques.
5. Ensure that checklists have been made and are being followed and understood.
6. Assist in the recruitment of staff members(Skill test) if necessary.
7. Handle guest complaints and record all guest comments.
8. Assist in the promotion of day packages.
9. Respect and observe guests’ privacy and safety at all times.
10. Ensure that all workshop and lectures are well planned and well attended.
11. Ensure that the Spa equipment is in proper working condition.
12. Ensure high standards of cleanliness in the Department..
13. Monitor and report unusual incidents of the area including unauthorized persons entering the Spa Lounge.
14. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all hotel and area events and activities so that guests will receive accurate and prompt information when requested.
15. Have extensive knowledge of all treatments listed on the Spa Treatment List.
16. Undertake other duties as requested by Spa Manager / Hotel Management.
17. Attend training sessions and meetings as requested.
18. Train Therapists and check to ensure consistent treatment therapy is maintained.
Team management and cross-departmental responsibilities
• Assure the interface between all hotel departments and service-providers if necessary.
• Help train and develop other spa therapist in the team.
Management and administration
• Ensure that departmental operations adhere to the standards prescribed in the Spa
• Report lost and found items
• Management Briefings in the absence of Spa Manager
Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
• Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy
• Knows and applies the hotel's safety and security regulations (in case of fire etc)
• Ensures the safety of people and property
• Respects the hotel's commitments to the ""Environment Charter"" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc)
Reporting line
Reports to the Spa Manager (depending on the organisation)

* Education / Professional experience
• High school, certificate in Masseuse or equivalent education required.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Fluent in the English and Vietnamese languages
• Must possess basic computer skills
• 2 year experience in a quality rate Spa Supervisor, as Masseuse, required.
• Certificates Required: Massage Therapy, Basic First Aid
