Head Sommelier

● Overseeing and updating wine lists suitable for Set Menu, A La Carte &
Banquets
● Working with Executive Chef to create wine pairing for seasonal set menu
● Working with team leaders on promotions, banquets, collab and seasonal events
● Working with Purchasing department to maintain wine stock and negotiating
deals with wine suppliers
● Collaborating with wine suppliers to upgrade selections, bring in wine dinner,
wine events, wine tastings etc..
● Provide monthly wine training programs to FOH staff on (knowledge, service,
upsell, storing etc..). Especially luxury wines.
● Maintain good condition of the wine cellar and glassware
● Available during service to recommend wine to guests and assist daily operations
● Supervising FOH wine incentives

● Certification as a sommelier, a degree in hospitality or previous experience as a
sommelier is required
● Extensive knowledge on food and wine pairing, wineries and regions of the
different types
● Customer-orientated, good interpersonal skills, friendly & team working
● Available to work weekend
