Strategic
• Assess carefully contract’s safety to support distribution department in determine of contracts.
• Responsible for promoting an environment where a risk management culture can flourish
Governance
• Ensure service standards and expected TAT is met
• Ensure key risks have been identified, measured, monitored, managed and reported.
• Ensure appropriate levels of risk skills and experience within the team to support consistent risk management practices.
Operational
• Technical assessment of Life/CI/DI/PA/Medical products applications
• Service delivery either exceeding or meeting the KPIs.
• Achieve operational efficiencies through process and system enhancement opportunities
• Develops team through the identification of training needs and support training activities.
• Policies & procedures that enhance compliance within the Company guidelines
• Liaison with third parties on underwriting decision
• Assist management team to set up the New business and Underwriting process and related KPI;
• Assist management team to set up the Reinsurance process and related KPI;
• Process daily allocations, approving and updating of system to reflect changes with accuracy;
• Continuously review and enhance workflow/processes to maximise operational effectiveness;
• Prepare monthly section performance and KPI reports;
• Participate in system enhancement activities (UAT, new product/service testing…)
• Manage all New business and Underwriting activities; Support claim handling/assessment and reinsurance activities.
• Create and maintain a risk management environment that ensures risks taken by the function are identified, assessed and frequently monitored, managed and reported against.
• Other tasks as assigned by Operation Director.

• Degree in General Practitioner
• Insurance related professional qualifications

• Possess good medical knowledge and display astuteness in risk assessment

• Strong orientation towards customer service with pragmatic business and efficiency mindset, attention to detail;
• Positive work attitude and strong presentation skill;
EXPERIENCE
At least 08 years working experience of medical
