Head of Supply Chain

Job Summary
Initiate, develop supply chain strategy that supports and meets company strategy, company performance objectives and customer expectations. Maintain routines to ensure delivery of core supply chain metrics in terms of quality, cost and services. Minimize company risk and maintains compliance. Direct and coordinate planning, quality assurance, purchasing, warehousing, and logistics to minimize costs and improve quality, accuracy, customer service, and safety.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
2. Lead and drive supply chains team to support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies
3. Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
4. Work closely with operation leader to achieve operational objectives in cost, quality, delivery and inventory turnover
5. Provide guidance on import/export freight classification, Harmonization Coding, Country of Origin, import tariff management and compliance
6. Develop and design transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
7. Responsible for transportation analysis and transportation savings/cost opportunity analysis
8. Lead and improve distribution & logistics practices and network optimization including distribution center management and transportation management to maximize customer satisfaction.
9. Design or implement plant warehousing strategies and warehousing operations for finished goods.
10. Oversee outbound activities related to order-filling, stock replenishment, shipping.
11. Administer overall warehouse management, productivity, accuracy, and loss prevention programs to ensure that customer requirements are met.
12. Direct the buying activities for the company including identifying global sources of materials, selecting suppliers, arranging contracts, and managing relationships
13. Develop or implement procedures/systems to evaluate supplier performance or select suppliers to ensure quality and delivery requirements
14. Drive cost reduction efforts by utilizing negotiation techniques, resourcing and other cost analysis procurement tools.
15. Direct and facilitate quality assurance team to achieve the company quality strategy
Administration
1. Train, develop, engage, and motivate human resources for Supply chain
2. Monitor all supply chain operations/activities to ensure it complies with the company policies, regulations and procedures
3. Prepare weekly and monthly reports to Business Leaders and Regional team.
4. Track the supply chain performance to ensure all KPIs will meet the targets

6. Direct the team to co-ordinate with all related functions including sales, marketing, production, Finance to implement company strategies.
7. Solve and settle any conflicts and issues arising within the team and with other functional teams

• External relation: Supplier, customers, Custom office, Quality certification organization, other authorities.

Job Specification
1. Knowledge & Skills: Extensive in all functions of SCM field including Planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics and quality assurance, ability to lead cross-functionally, quick decision making, and strong judgment ability.
2. Education, Training, Qualifications: University graduate in Business Administration, MBA is preferred.
3. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in SCM field, with at least 3 years in the position of SCM Leader in a multi-national company.
4. Personality: Team oriented and leadership skill, good communication skill, logical and critical thinking, superior negotiation skill, willing to work under pressure.
5. Physical Requirement: Fit and healthy.
