Mô tả công việc

Purpose of the Role: Manage a team of Relationship Managers to promote a range of MUFG products and services to various customers, including but not limited to corporate and institutional customers within the Asia & Oceania region. Responsible for assessing the customers and industries risk to support the team in structuring complex deals to mitigate risk to the Bank as well as reviewing all credit applications for deals within the team to ensure pricing, product offerings and the structuring of the deal is aligned to business strategy.
Strategic
• Lead the promotion of products to customers and identify and promote cross selling opportunities.
Financial
• Manage the delivery of the department’s banking services to customers, in own coverage area to meet the whole department's revenue targets.
• Develop business opportunities in consideration of RORA and profit targets.
Customer
• Anticipate as well as be sensitive to shifting customer expectations and provide recommendations to the wider department on appropriate measures to ensure the Bank stays ahead of competitors.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
• Work in partnership with Compliance to consult on compliance issues, including but not limited Know Your Customer and Sanctions.
• Work in partnership with Credit on any credit issues associated with deals.
• Work in partnership with Head Office to understand customers and business to ensure that appropriate advice is provided and meets the requirements of customers.
• Visit local customers when required, to represent the business to resolve complex issues and maintain the customer’s relationship as well as services.
• Visit local customers on a regular basis in order to be vigilant on customer issues and potential business opportunities.
People
• Responsible for managing (objective setting & performance management) and Development of Direct Reports.
• Act a role model to team members and adhere to all company policies / guidelines.
• Support, coach and guide team on complex corporate banking issues.
Other/Control
• Support team by leading the meeting or presentation to senior level customers
• Review deal proposals and credit applications to ensure pricing, product offerings and the structuring of the deal is aligned to business strategy, delivers a high quality of service to customers and mitigates risk to the Bank.
• Structure complex financial solutions that will deliver a high quality of service to customers and mitigates risk for the Bank.
• Regularly report the performance of the team against set targets and future pipeline of deals.
• Support the team in difficult negotiations with customers including but not limited to contract terms and conditions and pricing, as well as seek commercial solutions to finalise the deal.
• Review and contribute to presentation material for pitches prepared by the team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits.
• Support departmental initiatives to deliver increase revenue opportunities and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.
• Participate in relevant committees such as the Deal Screening committee.
• Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

• Degree qualified.
• Desirable to have at least 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others and sell products.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.
• Strong coaching skills to manage a team.
