Head of Operations (Insurance)

PRIMUS’s client is a world's large non-life insurance company.

Position summary

This position is responsible for day-to-day customer service, the provision of effective operational support to the business, and the continuous business improvement.

Detail Job Description:
- Provide oversight in the delivery and service quality of operational responsibilities including but not limited to customer interaction & retention, billing, policies issuance, claims and renewals.
- Develop the country cross-functional execution plan to improve productivity, operational efficiency and ease of doing business.
- Lead operations staff through exemplary behaviour and frequent communication on the importance of service and the link between our commitment to our business partners, insureds and internal customers.
- Ensure staffing requirements are appropriate and in synch with the business direction of each department, whilst ensuring that service standards are not compromised.
- Support overall data quality and data integrity across the business, including defining the criteria for current and future systems data cleanses.

Education: University-level Degree
MUST-HAVE :
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in general insurance, non-life insurance
- Background in underwriting and operations is a MUST

NICE-to-HAVE:
- Lean / Six-Sigma certification a plus, but experience more important.
- Project Management certifications desirable.
