Responsibilities:
Accountabilities:
• Responsible for spend in Inland Procurement categories of Trucking, Rail, and Depot
• Responsible for spend in supply chain categories of CHB and Warehousing
• Responsible for EMR category spend
• Develop overall category strategy from both geographical and supplier perspective
• Responsible for preparation of annual procurement plan for respective categories
• Management of the inland procurement team
• Act as a point of escalation relating to dispute and issue resolution
• Manage vendor relationships on a strategic level
• Lead design and selection of appropriate tools and frameworks for category management
• Provide financial and commercial analysis and reporting requirements against the projects as required
• Managing e-Procurement and implementing digital solutions to modernize the procurement functions
• Management of inland contracts post sourcing
• Develop and execute defined Supplier Relationship and Performance
• Drive savings through sourcing initiatives, optimizing operational behaviours and opportunity assessment
• Drive continuous improvement
• Support to head of procurement on non-sourcing projects and activities
• Support to other category sourcing, where and when required

We are looking for:
• Relevant experience in operations, procurement or operations management or related supply chain management positions in the relevant market
• University qualification in Management or equivalent preferred
• Change management
• Effective [cross-functional] communication
• Project management
• Stakeholder management
• Analytical abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills including
• Fluent in English
