Genzyme is a biotechnology business in Sanofi. We are looking for Head of this business in Vietnam with the job responsibilities as below:

JOB PURPOSE:
• Head of Genzyme is responsible for developing Genzyme business in Vietnam market.
• The position is responsible for setting strategic direction, tactical implementation of strategies, and all aspects of the marketing mix, including positioning, pricing, promotion and distribution channel initiatives.
• The position is responsible for helping policy makers, and the general public, understand Sanofi’s positions as a leading voice business and together with key authorities ( MOH) building the sustainable regulatory frameworks for rare disease in Vietnam
• The position is responsible for building market access strategy for Genzyme brands to be enlisted in Health Insurance list.
• The position is responsible for achieving financial goals of Genzyme business in line with the strategic investment plan of Sanofi Vietnam.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Business Development:
• Develop short and long-range goals and strategy of genzyme business in Vietnam market
• Successfully launch Sanofi-Aventis Genzyme brands with competitive brand positioning to Vietnam market.
• Deliver financial objectives (sales and profitability) of the business by driving sales growth and maximizing market potentials.
2. Implementation of Sales & Marketing Strategy
• Lead development of marketing plan, including product mix, sales volumes, and market share.
• Lead and manage to develop and implement customer marketing and channel strategies, collaborative customer plan and deliver key volume and financial targets.
• Lead and manage activities by coordinating with authorized departments in:
• Market research and sales forecasting
• Pricing, sales and merchandising activities, marketing campaigns, advertising and promotions
• Business development activities
• Sales training and promotional activities
• Customer service, invoicing and credit and payment administration
3. Collaborations in the Organization
• Proactively seek and gain supports from Regional business team, including regulatory, marketing, manufacturing, etc. by establishing strong network and communicating with them in a collaborative manner.
• Optimize cross-functional supports within the affiliate, ensuring effective communications between operations committee members.
• Manage professional networks at all levels of the global, regional, affiliate organizations.
4. People Management
• Recruit, develop, provide coaching to employees in the business.
• Conduct and document regular performance reviews and an annual review as well as regular personal/career development discussions with direct reports, in line with Sanofi-Aventis performance management process.
• Develop effective organizational culture for people to be motivated and perform.
5. Corporate compliance responsibilities:
• Every staff of Sanofi is accountable for assuring compliance’s rules & ethic code when working with Health Care Professional to strengthen the company’s image.
• Ensure all the activities of the sales force unit comply with relevant acts, legal demand and ethical standards and in line with marketing plan
6. Corporate HSE responsibilities
• At any level of the organization, each individual is accountable for following all HSE guidelines and policies requested by the Group as well as contributing to the achievement of the HSE objectives.
• Line Manager is accountable for assuring compliance with the road safety program for driving employees under their supervision and leads by example.
• Others: carrying out special/ad-hoc requirements as requested by supervisor if any

Education: At least BS degree in Pharmacy/Medicine or related major
Experience & knowledge:
• At least 10 years experience and knowledge of sales & marketing on Ethical business in Vietnam for Top 5 MNC.
• Strong track records for brand and new product launching and development
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Extensively established trade contacts and experience in account development
