*** JOB OBJECTIVES
• To supervise a team which is responsible for the effective collection of debt payment to achieve NCL target.
• To close manage portfolio for a reducing Net Flow and Delinquency as per the target.
• To manage, motivate people within the team for development.
• To implement initiatives for the improvement of Collection job quality.
• To ensure CM team and external vendors in compliance with Group requirement in Customer Management & Solutions, Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer.
*** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and allocate day-to-day work of credit management among members in the team to ensure minimized credit losses via the effective implementation of collections activities.
• Review delinquent accounts for appropriate charges-offs.
• Literately elaborate MI relating to performance of Collections for strategic decision making/appropriate action plan upon the recession.
• Manages, motivates and trains staff to ensure team’s performance in par with best class.
• Contact difficult delinquent loan customers to negotiate accelerated payments. Where necessary, liaise with solicitors for litigation.
• Execute, revise procedures and processes for more efficient collections activities.
• Control on the operating of money laundering group policy, group standards, and local law, regulations.
• Review, propose and follow up charged off accounts.
• Review existing outsourced agency activities; empanel new agencies upon need arisen.
• Be in charge of reporting to Group Credit Management in timely and accuracy manner.
• Control Collections cost efficiency.
• Manage Net Credit Loss (NCL) as approved budget.

* For: Nature of purpose:
- To take over delinquent account; Enquire borrower’s information; account performance history for the decision of appropriate collection action.
- For system modification
- To share trendy delinquency and to recommend changes in procedures and policies where needing.
- Prepare delinquent reporting data i.e. provision, interest–in-suspense, charge off ....
- For adhoc, monthly, quarterly and annually returns.
- Claim insurance premium for deceased cases.
- Arrange training for credit control staff
- For the oversea collections assistance.
- Follow up the progress of legal cases.
- Provide regular instruction, conduct periodical audit visit and meeting to monitor the progress of delinquent accounts assigned to Collection agency.
- To confirm the date of judgment, enforcement’s and liaising with them for progress of bankruptcy cases.
- Exchanging information pertaining the latest financial positions and whereabouts of debtors.
- Provide instruction to sell distressed properties, request updated valuation of properties.
- Arrange settlement of debts.
- Solve customer’s complaint.
- Dispose of repossessed properties through public auction/private treaty.
- Reinstate the condition of repossessed properties.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• A strong & assertive communicator in speaking & writing.
• Collections experience.
• Vendor managing.
* Preferred:
• Collections manager in more than 5 years.

• Contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of Standards /consumer credit Policy by recommending appropriate changes to furtherly improve the end-to-end process, lending criteria.
