REPORTS TO (primary): HEAD OF OPERATIONS
REPORTS TO (secondary): HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS
JOB PURPOSE
1. Manage and oversee daily jobs of Credit Administration & Control and Loan Operations
2. Ensure the compliance of all policies, guidelines and local regulations on credit activities
3. Ensure the sufficient & efficiency of manpower within Credit Administration & Control and Loan Operations
4. Co-ordinate/support other business units to provide excellent services to customers
5. Participate in BOM’s projects for services quality improving & costs saving.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Daily manage and monitor Credit Administration & Control and Loan Operations to ensure that resources are utilized properly: Arrange for swap skills training within the team
2. Periodically/ad hoc review of current process/ procedures to update/revise (if required)
3. Randomly check daily tasks performed by staff to ensure that they are strictly follow the process/procedures
4. On- the-job observation to find our any opportunities to strengthen/ shorten the current process/procedures
5. Encourage/initiate for changes for process improvements
6. Sign legal and security documents under POA
7. Staffs’ performance controls
8. Co-ordinate with BUs for better services provide to customers
9. Perform other tasks as assigned by Management
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
- Staffs in Credit Administration & Control and Loan Operations
- Business units including Commercial Banking, Retails
- Other Dept, Div. of UOBV for daily operations
- Head of Operations, Head of T&O
- Treasury Dealers on exchange rates, interest rates
- International-HO: CAC, WLOC, WROC, BTS
CONTRIBUTION
- Maintain good relationship with various depts./sections and customers. Team working
- Improvement of working efficiency.
- Implementation of newly set-up systems
- Applying UOB’s Core Values in daily business
