Head of Business Planning – Global Corporate Banking Department

• Business Decision Support: Partner with the RM Teams, Regional GCBDAO Office, and other key internal stakeholders across the entire organization. Provide senior management with timely finance-related analysis and recommendations across a range of critical business decisions, including medium term business planning, transformation and partnership strategy.
• Yearly Planning: serve as a key contact for the centralized GC VN Planning & Forecasting, while driving the business forecasting and monitoring & controlling team business expenses. Gather firsthand inputs from business partners to accurately project business performance/investments based on current trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Results Tracking & Reporting: Provide detailed analysis and supporting commentary on actuals vs. budget variances partnering with key stakeholders (in country & Regional GCBDAO Office). Examine monthly/Quarterly results and P&L outcomes, communicate business performance and inform senior management on financial reporting data
• Working closely with Team Heads, RMs, and reporting team business pipeline to Regional GCBDAO Office.
• Support the implementation of the Branch’s strategy.
• Manage Credit Analyst team to provide efficiency support to RM Team on all credit matters, to ensure all reporting, credit applications, annual credit review applications, are submission on timely manner.
• Work in partnership with the relevant departments to provide updates on implementation of projects as well as share information on departments business planning and action plans.
• Prepare materials and keep tracking the business collaboration between MUFG & VietinBank to promote the Branch’s initiatives.
• Be key contact person and leading for projects around AML, Audit matters, Compliance matters, Operational matters (if any),
• Handle special assigned projects from time to time.

• Degree qualified.
• Desirable to have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Candidate with 4-5 years of financial analysis, corporate finance, and/or relevant experience acquired in a client advisory role at Amex and/or Big 4 accounting firm, top tier management consulting firm, or multinational investment bank preferred
• University Degree with a Finance qualification or equivalent experience
• Exceptional data analytics/management and Excel-spreadsheet expertise; prior experience constructing and taking end-to-end ownership of complex, scenario-driven, and dynamic financial models
• Strong people collaboration in working with multifunctional teams
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral; demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams and to understand key business issues and concerns from multiple perspectives. Fluency in English is a requirement.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently; effective at prioritizing multiple work-streams and meeting tight internal and external partner deadlines.
