In this position the candidate will build up a sales subsidiary in Vietnam and lead a team of sales, marketing and office staff. The candidate’s main tasks will be:
• Set up the sales office
• Build up the organization to start own sales activities
• Care of existing and acquisition of new customers in the relevant markets
• Exploration of new industries and business opportunities
• Active customer support and project work
• Support and cooperation with regional distributors
• Search, train and build up distributors in line with sales strategy
• Day-to-day management of the subsidiary, including responsibility for turnover, profit and HR
• Planning and implementation of marketing activities (exhibitions, advertisements, promotions, etc.)
• Cooperation with German head office

What we expect from the candidate:
Qualification & Experiences
• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Automation or similar from a recognized University
• Experience: Proven history as Sales Manager in Machine Tools, Tools or Automation, ideally gained partly in a foreign company
• Experience in personnel management is an advantage
• Very strong managerial, analytical and leadership skills, capability in working out sales strategies
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong ability in new customer acquisition
• Ability to interact successfully on senior management level
• Ability to acquire key customers throughout the various industry fields
• Experience in selling high-precision / high-value products
Personal characteristics
• works independently
• good self-motivation
• Willingness to travel frequently within Vietnam and occasionally abroad
Language skills / cultural skills
• Excellent English or German
• Social and cross-cultural competence to work with international mother company
