Guest Relation Officer

- Welcome guests during check-in and giving a found farewell to guest while checkout;
- Managing lobby area/showroom, serving water and receiving requests from customers/visitors;
- Direct customers/visitors to the appropriate person and office;
- Ensure that all check-ins and check-outs are handled smoothly without unnecessary delay or discomfort to any guest;
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls;
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries;
- Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner to provide excellent customer service;
- Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a busy environment.
- Research product knowledge to share to customers information regarding brands, services, etc.
- Respond and resolve any problems which customers may be experiencing;
- Review and respond to customer complaints and report to manager if necessary;
- Maintain all guest portfolios in the manner instructed and type out necessary guest likes and dislikes to the appropriate fields on the profile;
- Supervise & co-ordinate with housekeeping for clearing of showrooms;
- Follow the house rules and policies laid down by the management;
- Consciously and continuously strive to better skills and increase knowledge;
- Maintain an excellent relationship between all the members of the team and other sections

- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality/Business Administration or related field;
- Good communication in English;
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills;
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required;
- Willingness to work overtime/weekends (if requested) and learn new skills;
- Must be guest service focused and a team player;
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality is essential;
- Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently;
- Observant, strong interpersonal skill, discriminating and detail-oriented.
