Greenhouse Agricultural Engineer

Responsibilities & Duties:
· Identifying the plants and their problems (diseases, pests, and others).
· Planing, organizing, directing, controling, and/or coordinating with workers to engage in propagating, cultivating, harvesting and packing various tomato varieties.
· Training new employees in cultivating techniques including pruning, de-leafing, thinning, irrigation, and pest control.
· Managing all greenhouse personnel under your direction - supervising their activities and training them in the appropriate techniques for the plants being grown.
· Tracking labor efficiency and making appropriate changes in the labor crew to meet company goals.
· Ensuring that the labor quality meets company standards and actively manage out poor performers.
· Coordinating with biological control department to monitor pest and disease levels.
· Ensuring that all the safety policies (worker safety, food safety, etc) as well as strict crop hygiene practices are followed and enforced.
· Establishing and maintaining a program to record crop growth data (weekly crop report, climate report, fruit maturation report, production, etc.).
· Being able to budget and forecast crop expenses and yields.
· Being responsible for inspecting facilities for signs of disrepair, and delegating repair duties to staff.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture business/Agriculture science, or related fields (agricultural emphasis) is preferred.
• Plant problems identifying and solving skill (diseases, pests, and others).
• Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Analytical skill: being able to budget and forecast crop expenses and yields, analyze the needs of complex system which includes workers, crops, machinery and equipment.
• Good computer skill, be capable of running greenhouse computerized software
• Bilingual (English/Chinese) is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Must be willing to work and live for long periods in whole Viet Nam and oversea
