The role
The ‘Global Experience’ Officer provides comprehensive support and administrative services for global experience programming at RMIT Vietnam and in the region. This may include promotion, event management and logistical support. The role specifically supports all aspects of global leadership programs, including development, promotion, event coordination and evaluation of these. Furthermore, the Global Experience Officer provides a high level of support for programs designed to achieve RMIT University’s commitment to preparing graduates for global work and life.
The role works closely with colleagues across RMIT Vietnamand Melbourne with key external partners to ensure the delivery of world-class programming.
Key responsibilities
Support the development and delivery of global experience programs
Provide administrative support to all aspects of regionally delivered global experience programs
Provide regular reports and advice on progress of assigned global experience programs.
Contribute to the maintenance and development of systems and processes that support a quality experience for local and international students

Key selection criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an educational setting working in client and customer relations and/or sales.
Strong communication skills, written and spoken
Well-developed and demonstrable interpersonal skills
Strong customer service approach.
Experience in supporting event management.
Proven ability to provide timely and accurate and reports
Experience in developing and delivering presentations to diverse audiences
Experience with aspects of project coordination, with an emphasis on effective planning and time management
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
If English is not your first language, or you have not completed secondary education in an English speaking institution in an English speaking country, then you will be required to demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency standard at a BULATS Intermediate level (BULATS score 65), equivalent to IELTS (General) 6.0
If you are not sure your current level of English language proficiency, RMIT Vietnam will provide opportunities for you to undertake testing if you are shortlisted for the position.
