General Manager - Shopping Mall (HCMC)

An exciting opportunity has opened up for the position of Shopping Mall General Manager for one of the top malls in Hochiminh City covering both existing phase and new phase (launch end 2019).


Description

The Mall General Manager will be reporting to CEO/BOD and take overall responsibility for their current mall and the new phase (target to launch end of 2019).

* Develop and execute strategies for the current mall in Hochiminh City (existing phase and new phase) (e.g. Tenant re-positioning, re-branding/renovations, new mall opening, operations & maintenance).

* Participate in developing strategy for new mall locations

* Manage the day-to-day activities of the commercial, facility, tenants, and operations

* Proactively implement programs and processes to maximise to get high end tenants leasing

* Drive the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities

* Responsible for monthly and/or quarterly forecasts and detailed variance analysis as needed

* Oversee the tenant relationship management and other shared functions that supports the retail malls.

* Hold responsibility for the P&L forecast and reporting

* Work with the various teams in pre-opening and executing the opening of new retail malls.


Profile

The successful Candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in real estate management, Finance or Related qualifications with substantial experience in retail management, especially large shopping malls (at least 5 years in a management position in retail or commercial building).

The candidate shall be highly presentable of the brand, experience in business plan development and financial modelling/reporting, have good knowledge of the Vietnam real estate market.

He/She shall have proven history developing and implementing processes to increase efficiency and profitability.

He/she shall possess strong leadership, communication & negotiation skills while maintaining a good level of collaboration within other teams.
