General Manager, Global Video Ad Production Services

An exciting opportunity exists for a General Manager for Global Video Ad Production Services in Ho Chi Minh. This role will predominantly be focused on managing the communication and coordination of creative work for Shakr's clients, whether that's via a direct client/partner brief, or via the Shakr SAAS platform. These video assets are specifically designed for advertising via mobile-first social media channels. The role will involve managing the creative briefing process with clients, coordination of assets, and providing suggested edits and creative brief recommendations to our design teams. You will manage the schedules and timelines of a number of motion graphics designers worldwide.

Representing the company at sales meetings will also be required from time to time, with business trips in the APAC region on a quarterly basis. Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the communication and briefing process of incoming video advertising briefs – ensuring that all relevant information is captured in a clear, easy to interpret manner for designers.
- Develop creative strategies and best practices into storyboards, based on creative trends and frameworks in various markets. Collaborate with motion graphic designer team to make recommendations on storyboard, improve narrative, and adjust visual elements on the execution stage.
- Project management to ensure that work is being carried out to specification, expectation and desired quality levels, while adhering to timelines. You will own the project from brief to execution and follow ups.
- Liaise and communicate all work information with the relevant production teams across multiple regional offices, ensuring the requirements, deadlines and expectations are clear.
- Maintaining and managing all relevant production reporting.
- Collaborate and assist in managing the operations of motion graphics designers in various offices, including our Seoul office, and freelancers worldwide.

- General management of our business in Vietnam
- Manage a team of Adobe After Effects designers in Ho Chi Minh
- Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, with strong written and verbal communication
- General knowledge of the work involved in producing video advertisements for social media
