General Accountant (RTR Specialist)

Key responsibilities:
 - The RTR Specialist has the expertise in RTR processes and local regulatory requirements (legal and tax)
 - Supports RTR manager in definition of the local or non-global processes
 - Executes RTR processes as per GOM SOPs and local SOPs if any, including regulatory reporting, support to country management decision, adjustments to the P&L, and audit support
 - Works closely with other DPDHL entities to ensure open lines of communication are maintained.
 - Executes in conjunction with SSC team the strategy for RTR process
 - Acts as a relationship-builder and manager across internal functions.
 - Supports RTR/IC manager in the review of the service providers’ performance
 - Supports compliance to policies, procedures and SOPs for RTR process
 - Works directly with the service providers to identify improvement opportunities.
Main tasks:
 - Dispute Management: receiving and resolving escalations from shared service center, stations/operations and escalated IRCN for IC
 - Resolutions of journal entry calculation and posting issues, reconciliation issues, month end close, year end closing
 - Compliance to local regulation – responsible for local regulatory reporting, statistics, ad-hoc requests.
 - Reporting – Reviews daily reports as well as ad hoc and other reporting mechanisms. Reports performance updates and escalations to RTR manager and other stakeholder reporting as needed.
 - Approval of P&L adjustments
 - CREST reporting, cash forecast reporting, net working capital report, P&L deviations
 - CoA structure – Approval of request to changes to CoA based on authorization matrix
 - Maintains the cost allocation keys
 - MEC calendar – month end close calendar coordination
 - Support controlling team and local management in the budget process and internal and external auditors with their requests

 - University degree in Finance or equivalent qualification
 - 3-5 years of experience in related field
 - Proven hands-on experience in used accounting system and CREST Analytical Tools (TM1 / Free Analysis)
 - Excellent accounting knowledge
 - Good knowledge of accounting standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements
 - Solid experience in MS Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, charts, etc.) required
 - High degree of conceptual and analytical skills
 - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), fluent in English
 - Ability to take initiatives and follow-up with details
 - Experience of working with an outsourced team is essential
