POSITION PURPOSE
The role of the Finance Team Leader is to provide simplicity, assurance & insights leading to asset protection and sustainable growth and to ensure the business performs the best possible accounting practices at any given time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1.
Accountabilities: Reporting
Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate reports required by Group and ensure deadlines are met. The reports include month-end reporting pack; budget/rolling forecast; mid-month & D1 forecast and other operational reports (such as salesforce report, boat/van analysis; cost center reports, product report…)
• Communicate and interpret these reports to direct line and dotted line;
• Monitor business changes (including projects, new company set up, changing in local registration, changing in company’s structure … ). Assess and communicate the impact on Finance to direct line and dotted line.
• Manage cashflow efficiently
Metrics:
Accurate and timely month end reporting
Insightful reporting of drivers of financial results
Process improvement initiatives delivered

Accountabilities: Compliance and Risk management
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a working knowledge of statutes to ensure all financial information meets the necessary statutory and regulatory compli-ance standards, including liaising with tax consultants, auditors to ensure legislative requirements are met. Communicate and report to Finance Managers for any legal requirement for the company.
• Ensure all legal documents filing (including licenses and leasing renewals)/ tax and fee payments/ statutory and audit report are met deadlines;
• Contributes to ensuring effective tax planning is carried out to en-sure compliance and optimization of taxation expense for the Company;
• Review company’s processes and promptly react with any areas containing high risk, fraud and misconducts; develop recommen-dation and solutions;
• Ensure compliance with Group policies
Metrics:
Audit report is issued within given timeline & no signifi-cant adjustment;
Statutory/tax report/returns is accurate & submitted on time, no surprise payment;
On time submission to Group Compliance Man-ager for required compli-ance reports

Accountabilities: Customer service
Responsibilities:
• Co-ordinate with internal parties such as sales, reservations, ac-countants in other companies within the group, support to suit business needs from area leaders
• Co-ordinate with external parties such as bankers, suppliers, cus-tomers to ensure a smooth business run
Metrics: Good feedback from par-ties

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum tertiary qualification of a Bachelor Degree in finance;
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting area;
Good knowledge of local tax regulations.
Fluent in written and verbal English.
SKILL AND ATTRIBUTES

Ability to tell insight from spreadsheet
