Job Description
The General accountant will be responsible for doing all the accounting tasks, applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information. He/she will ensure appropriate accounting control procedures, keep the routine accounting transactions, accounting books, and prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
Responsibilities
• Keep accounting evidences, proofs and books sufficiently and in order
• Prepare and doing routine and daily accounting tasks (include keeping a small petty cash fund)
• Ensure financial and accounting records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures in an accounting system
• Closing books accurately as deadline required
• Prepare financial and management reports as required and ensure the deadline are met.
• Prepare and submit the compulsory reports for authority as required.
• Implement and maintain accounting control procedures
• Prepare data primarily and support to establish budget and forecast activities
• Monitor and support for taxation issues
• Financial audit preparation and coordinate working with the audit/ tax consultant
• Ad hoc if any

• Minimum of 3+ years experience in the same position and/or accounting systems, financial reporting, financial data analysis.
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
• Knowledge and experience of Tax regulations.
• Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
• Hands on for posting, closing books and generating reports
• Ability to use English for communications
