Report to: ATG Finance Manager
Department/ Division: Accounting
JOB OBJECTIVES
The General Accountant is responsible for the day to day activities of the accounting team, ensures the strict compliance with the procedures and processes of the finance function and produces accurate financial and management accounts. Within a defined scope of entities, in addition to scheduling jobs and delegating duties to accounting department staffs, he/she proactively identifies, develops and implements processes and tools to allow timely and accurate reporting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Cash management:
• Checking bank balance report on a daily basis
• Ensuring smooth payment process from request to transfer validation
• Reviewing cash book records and monthly cash count
• Updating cash flow planning by closely following up on payables
B. Bookkeeping:
• Being ultimately responsible for all the bookkeeping within the defined scope
• Maintaining proper financial reporting under VAS and other local GAAP
• Supervising reconciliation of accounts for review and approval of the management
C. Tax:
• Checking and approving supplier invoices
• Supervising the issuance of VAT invoices
• Checking VAT report and other tax reports
D. Administration:
• Being responsible for contract management
• Ensuring a proper management and archive of all accounting documentation
• Uploading common data on e-database
• Following up on invoices/debit notes to customers and partners
• Supporting with forms to the banks, corporate secretary, etc.
E. Audit:
• Preparing all requested data for the external/internal auditor
• Carrying out the preparation and execution of the audit fieldwork
• Following up on the audit closing and conclusions with ATG Finance Manager
F. Ad-hoc:
• Supporting ATG Finance Manager in ad-hoc tasks as tax control, audit, internal report and accounting books.
• Supporting HR department in payroll process, social insurance and tax declarations.

SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and best practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Computer literacy, proficient in MS office applications is a must
• Experience in consolidation under IFRS (not mandatory)
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or equivalent would be a big advantage
• 5-7 years of progressive responsibility in the accounting function
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Aside from VAS, experience in IFRS and other GAAP is a plus
GENERAL REQUIREMENT
• Male or Female
• Good personal grooming and attitude
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues as a team
• Good judgement showing logical decision-making
• A hands-on attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Effective organizational skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• High level of ethics and confidentiality
