General Accountant

We are looking for General Accountant position – 1 year contract, with job description and specific requirements as follows:

Tax:
• To prepare periodic tax reports (VAT, WHT, CIT, and others) in line with local regulations;

• To review and verify the ledgers book or ensure all tax reports/submissions; pay to the Government Treasury as per schedule.

Accounting:

• To perform daily accounting activities as recording into accounting software timely and accurately, following account AR/AP, cash book and fixed assets inventory, filling contracts & PO system.

• To prepare periodic and extraordinary reports of internal accounting in order to meet management request and support data for relevant department

• To cooperate with accounting members for reconciliation for accounts in the system for the Company’s Financial Statements preparation on monthly, quarterly and annually basis.

Accounting documentation:

• To report to the Chief Accountant for the business activities and duties of the purchase orders/other contracts/sales reporting.

• To work closely with relevant authorities and updating changed current regulation on Tax and Accounting in order to understand and ensure the company Financial & Accounting policies/procedures/practices fully meet the relevant requirements,

• Other tasks as assigned by Chief Accountant and Corporate Admin Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree, major in Accounting and Finance
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in a similar position
• Experience in construction environment is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Accounting software, MS office applications
• Good command of English, both written and verbal communication
• Enthusiastic, initiative, be able to work under pressure and independently
