Mô tả công việc

1. Planning and organising:

• Participate in preparation of the hotel’s strategic and marketing plans. prepare the front office team budget

• Plan, develop and implement formal training plans for front office and guest relations personnel

2. Operation

• Supervise the functioning of all departmental employees, facilities, sales and costs to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved

• Take personal responsibility for maximizing quality levels of product and service, and guest satisfaction

• Remains accountable for all elements of the departmental operations • Ensures that all standard operating procedures are being adhered to, by training all staff and monitoring their performance

• Implement all sales and promotional program of the hotel

• Monitor daily arrivals and action as appropriate for any VIPs or special request. Liaise with housekeeping, room service and GRM where necessary to compete the action

• Take personal responsibility for driving upselling within the property

3. Administration:

• Establish and maintain effective employee relations.

• Liaise with HR in all employee matters including interviewing and hiring, employee orientation, performance appraisals, coaching, counselling, and dismissal if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity

• Control payroll and business expenses of the department

• It is anticipated that some shift work will be required to cover all shifts of the hotel

• Must have a friendly and outgoing personality and be genuinely interested in meeting and serving new guests from all over the world. Culturally sensitive
• Must be resilient, even-tempered and calm under challenges
• Must have good leadership skills, demonstrating an ability to coach the team and take responsibility for guiding and developing their performance. Must be able to motivate and inspire other people to perform
• Must be able to adapt positively and quickly to new situations. Must be able to multi-task and handle more than one activity at a time
• Must be flexible and b e able to act using their own initiative. Must be able to plan ahead, and develop contingency plan
• Must be able to communicate status quickly and effectively
• Must be passionate about improving customer service and continually improving the operation
• Be able in speaking and writing English and Vietnamese fluently and basic graduated in diploma or vocational certificate, good knowledge of computer skill for the operation and needs minimum 2 years experience in the similar position and had a very conversation skill
