*** Directly Report: Head of Sales French Department
***PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
This role is to assist the Sales & Business Development Manager with the creation and pricing of marketing materials for agents, brochures, and to support the Sales & Marketing Team with administrative tasks. In addition, the role will cover the responsibility of translating company documents, collaterals, innovations, Business Development and promotions. Roles and responsibilities including but not limited to the points below.
***RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
** Sales & Business Development:
• On the phone with new agents and agencies to offer new products and promotions.
• Put together customized packages for different tour operators (existing and potential)
• Put together promotional packages for wholesales segment (French Market)
• Together with outside DBDs, marketing reps and inside sales team, target the right tour operators and their niche
• Setup appointments for tradeshows & other networking events via phone or e-mail
• On the phone with new agents and agencies to offer new products, promotions & proposal follow up
**Marketing
• Assist the marketing team with administrative and marketing-related matters
• Co-ordinate with other Departments within the company including Product, Contracting and Sales with producing new promotional packages and itineraries for individual markets/segments
• Prepare promotions (on and offline) and quotations for French Market
• Create monthly content for Newsletters/Press release for French Market
• Prepare and update power points presentations for webinars training, agent training & country overview as needed
• Using Mail chimp as essential email marketing tool

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Tertiary studies in tourism Hospitality, Economics or Business preferred
• Knowledge of tourism, geography, foreign cultures
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years working experience in the reservation of Hospitality, and in Travel Industry,
• Experience with reservation systems (Opera, Smile or others)
• Experience with online booking via OTA
SKILLS
• Excellent communication in French (for both Speaking & Writing skills)
• Good - reservation and/or inventory management
• Good – MS Office (Word, Excel Outlook, Power point)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Flexibility to work overtime from time to time
• Ability to work under pressure
