FOREIGN TEACHERS RECRUITMENT

Teaching Duties
•Teaching in accordance with the schedule assigned.
•Mastering the AL methods & teaching accordingly.
•Teaching the groups of students assigned according to their study plans.
•Teaching regular classes in the center as assigned.
•Grading the students’ papers, homework.
•Working with the co-teachers in adjusting the students’ studying plans in a way that produces highly effective results for students’ learning.
•Monitoring the students’ progress and being responsible for students’ learning outcomes.

Assisting the center with the placement tests.
•Participating in Training/ workshops as requested.
•Participating in Students’ excursion/ events as requested.
•Other tasks as requested by the Management Team.
Giving comments about the progress of students at the end of every course
•Reporting to the Academic Supervisor any cases of students who show little improvement in studying.
•Working with the Academic Supervisor to provide extra learning activities/ materials for special students.
•Being friendly and approachable to all students and especially to the ones who need help.
•Working with the Academic Coordinators in responding to feedback or complaints from parents or students in an appropriate manner.

• Although the jobs are fun, the role tends to require more attention and dedication than many people assume. Teaching English in AMA is a challenging job and making sure the students are learning is a big responsibility but incredibly gratifying.
• You can expect proper teaching resources to be provided by AMA. Teaching resources usually include: flashcards, photocopiers, paper, coloring tools, white and/or black boards, shared office computers, English related games, story books, work books and so on.
• You’ll find that most individuals who choose to teach overseas are open minded, outgoing, and eager to develop new friendships. Don’t be surprised if you leave Korea with new life-long friends from around the world.
