For our international partner we are recruiting a Food Quality & Safety Manager with experience in high volume food processing plants, available to work in fast pace environment in Hanoi
Description
The next Food Quality & Safety Manager, reporting to the National Fodd safety Director, will be entirely responsible over 50+ stores in the North with the following activities:
* Directing and overseeing the product safety assessment process to mitigate food safety risks and protect the customer
* Functioning as a focal point for all food safety related trends, regulations, and legislation, while maintaining a high level of expertise on related subjects, to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements
* Develops and implements continuous improvement mindset in the quality and food safety areas by setting goals and identifying KPI to ensure production of quality products in the most cost-effective manner
* Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, and other departments to provide guidance on, and assure implementation of, food safety programs and hygienic design of facilities and their equipment
* Assuring compliance with local and international regulamentation and standards
* Manages total product quality testing and inspection plans, for internal testing and external laboratory testing
* Manages operational relationship with 3rd Party testing lab.
Profile
The ideal Quality Manager has 7-10 years experience in Food Safety & Quality management in Food Processing, Hospitality or FMCG industry, having prerearably a B.S. or M.S. in a science field.
Has a strong HACCP understanding and is familiar with it's application an large scale business.
The preferred candidate is fluent in Vietnamese and English.
Leadership, excellent communications skills and international mindset are required.
