Fixed Assets & Taxation Accounts Executive

Department/Group: Finance And Accounts Department
Location: Thot Not, Can Tho City
Travel Required: Locally to the financial institutes

Controlling and Checking the Capital Expenditure
- Providing instructions of CAPEX procedures to relevant person, where necessary;
- Tracking CAPEX spending vs budget & status of CAPEX implementation – updating the Chief Accountant and requestor on a timely manner;

Ensuring fixed assets register timely and correctly in accordance with company policy
- Preparing and checking assets register document and write off before input to the accounting system;
- Leading the physical stock-takes of the company’s assets at all sites;
- Update information for assets redundant program and asset impairment testing;
- Managing company’s small item assets;

Providing timely and accurate reports and depreciation, CAPEX information for forecasting and planning
- Preparing monthly and quarterly reports;
- Preparing CAPEX and depreciation information during the budgeting process;

Taxation
- Preparation of all statutory tax returns (i.e. CIT, VAT, WHT, transfer pricing and PIT);
- Ensure full compliance with relevant tax regulations and timely submission of all statutory tax returns;
- Preparation/reconciliation and making accounting entries in relation to cash and tax accounts;

Others
- To liaise and maintain a professional and good relationship with the local bank relationship manager and assist in coordinating meeting between the HQ, Chief Accountant and Deputy Chief Accountant
- Assist the completion of audit (internal and external) activities by providing all necessary information and preparing requested documentations;
- Assist in ensuring effective internal controls are in place with all financial accounting activities; and
- Other ad hoc as requested by the Chief Accountant and Deputy Chief Accountant
