Financial Controller

The incumbent is responsible for planning, controlling and monitoring all finance/ accounting activities at unit level and ensuring statutory compliance.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for all tax issues, production of the statutory accounts and corporation tax accounting
1.1. Ensure compliance with statutory & accounting laws & principles
1.2. Develop and execute various system processes for internal control.
2. Develop and execute financial plans (both short term and long term) to ensure profitable growth of the organization
Lead and manage financial planning & forecasts
3. Analyze and report monthly management accounts.
3.1.Overseeing the production of monthly financial information
3.2. Updated and timely generation of Management Information system to help senior management take informed decisions.
3.3. Preparation of full year budget and financial forecasts
4. Manage the working capital and funds of the organization
4.1. Monitor all Capital Expenditure against budgets set individually.
4.2. Ensure effective control of costs and expenses
4.3. Present budget comparisons against actual (For operational expenses)
5. Ensure timely vendor payments as per purchase order.
Compliance with terms of Purchase Order
6.Oversee and monitor the treasury activities
Manage daily banking activities
7. Budgeting/Forecasting:
7.1. Organize the annual budget plan and quarterly forecast
7.2. Coordinate with hospitals’ management to resolve all inquiries
7.3. Ensure forecast financials are properly updated reflecting year-to-date positions and results and latest projections

Requirement
Academic Background:
Essential:The incumbent should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant
Preferable: M.B.A. (Finance)
Experience Range Required: The incumbent Should have an experience of about 10 years (with minimum 5-7 years experience at Controller level in Private Hospital)
