Financial Control Advisor

1. Ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions based on accounting standards, including providing advice on application of accounting standards
2. Preparing statutory reports and filing with the regulators, including liaising with external auditors
3. Hold board meetings and ensure all required regulations are met
4. Tax submissions (corporate tax, GST/VAT and withholding tax), including engaging tax consultants and service providers
5. Provide tax advice for projects and deals
6. Cash management for the region, including bank relationship and ensuring sufficient cashflow
7. Ensure fit-for-purpose internal controls balancing between risks and costs
8. Maintain Authorization Matrix, ensuring that it is up-to-date, and provide advice on application
9. Remain compliant and have high quality accounting and reporting
10. Lead implementation or upgrade of new systems, including ERP
11. Support and facilitate master database set-up and clean-up

Key Success Criteria’s / KPIs
- To ensure correct accounting of BU’s books;
- To meet reporting deadlines;
- To ensure compliance to the Regional and Group guidelines & policies for alignment to the Region and Group Management;
- To ensure compliance to the local legistration including Taxation;
To be revised on yearly basis.

Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting, qualified accountant or audit.
Technical skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, ERP systems and BI Tools.
Strong verbal/written English and Vietnamese communication and presentation skills.
Finance Professional independently capable of handling financial accounting, audits, statutory and tax regulations besides other areas.
Strong accounting and financial background with good exposure to audits and taxes.
Exposure to MNC / Big 4 audit firms preferable.
