REPORTS TO: Financial Accounting Manager
FUNCTION: SMD-TB Finance
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Financial Accounting Analyst is a member of both Vina-BAT’s Trading branch and Finance management to assist in developing and delivering the SMD JV Company’s strategy through the provision of the financial accounting activities, advice and management information as well as the development of financial knowledge and commercial awareness across the SMD JV.
Trading branch of VINA-BAT JV is a Branch of the joint venture between Vinataba (a leading Tobacco in Vietnam) and BAT Group. Its office is located in District 1, HCMC. Being a part of Finance team, the jobholder is responsible to provide the information for Vina-BAT’s Finance Manager and Head of Finance for decision making, ensure that (VINA-BAT) and its TB operate under an effective control environment with proper governance and risk management in place, under a very unique business model that requires financial management experience.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Monitor OVH spend, prepare and coordinate OVH forecast for the Company to ensure the OTIF and high accuracy
• Take responsible for BPC reporting – OVH
• Review postings, actual expenses to ensure actual trial balances are correct (at GL, cost center,..)
• In charge of journal entries (reclassification, correction, accrual/provision, tax exp)
• In charge of review aging for GRIR / Opened item GL and follow up to ensure timely clearing
• In charge of IFRS16 entries (review contract, update calculation, entries, …), payroll entries, support HR on expat’s PIT (collect data, reconciliation,..)
• Support RRB recharge entries
• Prepare and support in tax reports, statistics report (VAT, CIT, TP reports, WHT,)
• In charge of monthly, yearly closing schedule and follow up to ensure timely closing.
• Prepare blackline reconciliation, accounts reconciliation for FD checklist
• Support Operation Finance on periodic stock-count, capex sighting.
• Support other operation functions to embed internal policy and procedure
• Support on local statutory accounts (Vnese translation, conversion from group accounts to VAS accounts)
• Support for internal audit, external audit, tax… (find documents, prepare detailed ledge/workings,..)
• Conduct biannually finance house-keeping (VIM, SRM, Eflow, T&E, GL, Cost center)

Yêu cầu ứng viên
• University graduate in Finance/Economics, preferably with a professional accountancy qualification
• At least 2 years working experience as accountant (preferably for MNC’s)
• Good English communication
• Quick learner, creative and drive-for-results.
• Good knowledge of common application software e.g excel, power point, SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Good administrative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize works.
• Good inter-personal skills in dealing with internal and external customers/contacts at all levels.
• Sensitivity in dealing with confidential information
• At least 2 years working experience as accountant (preferably for MNC’s)
• Good English communication
