Role of the Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will oversee, plan and manage all financial activities of the company. Specifically, in the startup stage of our business, the Finance Manager roles include setting up accounting system, preparing payroll and tax compliances. He/she will implement the day-to-day accounting works, prepare financial reports and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO in both short term and long term. The Finance Manager will also be responsible to manage the supply & purchasing of O-We specifically for all consumables provided to franchisees. The role will also include recruiting and managing a team of 2-3 people in 2020 including accountant, cashier and supply manager. The Finance Manager directly reports to the CEO.
1. Strategic planning and counsel
• Build the finance department to ensure the company growth
• Drive company financial planning, build budget & ensure a follow-up in coordination with CEO
• Participate to strategic decisions to bring O-We to the next level
• Participate to the Series A fundraising in 2020

2. Set-up a proper accounting system & ensure the on-going accounting activities
• Revise and upgrade the current accounting management system
• Implement the relevant software to manage accounting
• Decide what has to be outsourced to external accounting partners
• Oversee the company general bookkeeping work
• Closely track the company cash-flow situation
• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial reports to the CEO
• In relationship with the Head of Operations, ensure the financial reporting of all franchisees

3. Company administration, payroll and tax preparation
• Manage company general business licenses registration (ERC, IRC, business lines…)
• Manage company funding with the French mother company (long-term loans…)
• Prepare monthly payroll for company staff
• Prepare PIT declaration and submitting to the authority
• Prepare VAT and CIT reports aligned to the law
• Ensure the relationship with authority for tax and auditing works

4. Set-up and manage the purchasing of company
• In close relationship with the Head of Operations, define and implement a purchasing strategy for all consumables provided to O-We Franchisees
• In close relationship with the Chief Technical Officer, define and implement a purchasing strategy for all technical spare-parts provided to O-We Franchisees
• Manage daily the company purchasing activities in relation with other departments

5. Manage HR & general company admin
• In charge of team new recruitment & company salary policy
• Set-up a proper finance / supply / admin team with 2-3 recruitments in 2020
• Structuring HR & finance procedures including a per-diem policy for all O-We team members

Finance Manager job qualifications and requirements

Professional qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as Finance Manager or relevant roles
• Profoundly experienced with corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Proficient in data analysis and forecasting method with analytical mind
• Excellent in the use of MS Office and financial management software
• Experience in the water sector is not required but would be a plus
• Good communication skills
• Vietnamese as mother tongue, fluent English skills, French basics is a plus
