Finance Manager

This position is responsible for Full Finance functions of Vietnam office, including statutory filing, internal control compliances, and Finance operation supports.
Manage and review outsource accountant’s work in Cambodia and Indonesia to ensure financial book properly, tax and statutory filing are meet and sound internal control.
Partners across functions to ensure smooth implementation of initiatives in Local office.

*** ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Statutory and Closing
• In charge of all Tax and Statutory filing / audit required by local law
• Handle monthly closing, journal posting to Oracle, and generate expense summary
• Responsible for monitoring Fixed Asset spend and disposal, prepare Capex forecast
• Review and ensure the accuracy of reconciliation on B/S items and P/L items
• Coordinate with Treasury in Bank account operation requirements.
• To ensure payment request are properly supported, approved and processed.
• Prepare cash flow forecast to ascertain funding needs of local entity
• Ensure compliances of Internal control requirements, (e.g. Banking policy and Chop usage policy, Code of business conduct)
Financial Planning and Operations
• Responsible for delivering monthly forecast and annual budget related to expenses in local office in a timely manner
• Prepare variance analysis and commentary versus budget, prior forecast and last year
• Coordinate and work closely with business partners to understand the cost drivers and reason behind deviation, and propose action plan for improvements
• Work closely with Hong Kong team in tracking and controlling of key expenses, e.g. Travel, Staff cost, relocation costs
• Support Merchant payable team in payment exceptions and supplier record maintenances
• Work with banking partners to provide solution in corporate card and local cash management
Others
• Provide assistance on any ad hoc projects that are related to the above areas

1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:
 Have hands on experiences in handling VAT and transfer pricing tax implementation
 Be able to build finance structure by working with both internal and external accounting services firm
 Be able to advise practice finance policy which comply with local law and easy to administrate.
 Good English language skills, both oral and written
 Robust analytical and problem solving abilities
 Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
 Able to work both independently and as part of a team
 Ability to prioritize and be flexible with priorities shift
 Strong PC skills, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
 Attention to details is critical
 Self-motivated, hard-driven, with earnest desire to learn and grow

2) Minimum educational/professional level:
 College degree
 Holding Vietnam recognized qualification as Chief Accountant of legal entity

3) Minimum experience:
 6 years multinational relevant experience in Finance functions
 Familiar with Vietnam government requirement in tax and statuary filing is preferred
 Proved track record of being a business partners in matrix environment
 Hands-on experiences in day to day finance work
