Finance Director

1. Financial projection & reports: Revenue:
- Prepare the projection for revenue based on the information provided by PMs or Director (not including taking responsibility if the projected revenue is under or over actual amount)
- Update monthly actual revenue to Directors (Accountant updates weekly actual revenue to PMs and Directors)
- Prepare annual revenue breakdown by kind of services and perform analysis
* Profit margin:
- Estimate % profit margin for the whole year and update or revise it monthly based on actual performance
- Maintain a 30% profit margin
* Costs & expenses:
- Prepare the budget for all costs & expenses, especially for staff costs
- Update the actual costs & expenses monthly at month ended
- Do comparison on each line of cost & expense and note the reason of variance
- Approve Cost Estimates
2. Cash management:
- Update cash balance at month ended
- Manage the cash in & out basing on weekly reports
- Checking monthly payment requests before Director’s approval
- Alert the bad collection to Directors (not including to chase the bad debt by any methods)
- Consult Director on the case of out of budget (not including to carry out the advised actions)
- How to effectively invest cash in bank
- Keeping 6 month working capital
- Looking at Bank charges/fees/structure and adjusting.
- Monitor exchanges rate movement
3. Project Management:
- Checking CE on the profitability of the project (including checking costs & expenses, estimate contingency & calculate % profit margin only)
- Checking the contract with vendor/freelancer on the cost & payment terms to control the costs within budget (not including working with vendor/freelancer about the payment terms, payment status, etc.)
- Checking the PR (following contract term & company policy, not including confirm any payments which are not followed contract term & payment policy)
- Review payment term in service contract to client and consult Directors in finance view about cashflow (not including dealing with client about payment term, follow up the contract signing & modify the contract template)
4. M&A and Auditing
- Support external auditors in checking accounting books and financial statements.
- Inform Accountant if there is any requirement of adjustment
- Inform Directors any feedbacks relating to Accounting & Finance
- Consult Directors about Accounting transaction bookings (including getting Director’s approval before carrying out of any transactions into accounting books)
5. Policies and Procedures
- Preparing and adjusting Subcontractor, Client, and employment contracts.
-Collections receivables
- Payments process
-Creating workshops with accounts team to explain the financial policies
6. Budgeting
a. Payroll
- Maintaining a budget for Payroll without over exceeding.
- Approve new hires
b. Office
- Ensure the plan for office costs are feasible and reasonable
- Maintaining the office costs without exceeding plan
7. Overseeing accountant
a. Book keeping
b. Reporting
c. Expense / revenue
d. Cash management
8. Tax compliance and planning
• Ensure all tax related compliance requirements are met such as VAT, annual corporate tax filings, and transfer pricing.
• Work with the Managing Director/leadership team to ensure optimal tax structure and identification of potential tax minimization strategies.

- English: Advanced
- Experience: at least 5 years and above in Accounting, Auditing, and Finance.
