I. JOB SUMMARY

The Finance Controller (“FC”) has overall responsibility for the Finance & Accounting function as it relates to all Emeraude cruise, L’Azalee cruise and other cruise projects, including Accounting system, Budget, Report, Tax & Government Regulation. She/he also in charge of assisting the General Manager and Board of Director regarding finance matters. She/he will act as the Chief Accountant of Emeraude Classic Cruises Co. Ltd.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting system
• Accounting structure are organized at all times
• Purchasing system is controlled and any irregularities are reported
• All received goods from suppliers are controlled
• Expenses and documents from suppliers are recorded
• Payment vouchers, purchasing requests purchase orders are always checked and approved
• Control and process Cash reports and bank statements are controlled and processed
• Receivables are forecasted, controlled and recorded
• Payables are forecasted, controlled and recorded
• Direct costs are allocated to the departmental accounts
• All departmental costs are controlled and monitored
• Fixed asset files, tools and equipment of resort are controlled, amortised and depreciations are done
• Salaries and wages are controlled and paid as per resort standard
Budget
• Yearly budget building process is supported
• Yearly budget is submitted in time
• Budget is controlled and analysed with the monthly operation result
• Any discrepancy between budget and actual are analysed and reported
Reporting
• Weekly sales reports are on time
• Aging report is controlled and necessary action is taken in case of discrepancies
• Monthly financial statements including detailed explanation for expenditures and revenue are sent out
• General ledger, balance sheet trial balances are maintained
Tax & Government Regulations
• Monthly and yearly personal income tax reports are maintained
• VAT reports are completed after receiving input and output VAT records
• Process the monthly tax report
• Dealing with Taxation Department and finalization of VAT
• Updated regulations regarding finance and taxation from the government are followed strictly.

Work Experience: At least 05 year working experiences in Auditing/Financing/Accounting and/or at least 01 year experience in similar position. Good knowledge in Vietnamese Accounting Standards and all other tax/finance regulations

Education: Bachelor Degree in Auditing/Financing/Accounting or higher.

Budget Control/Responsibility: Establishing and controlling of the Emeraude, L’Azalee and other cruises projects’ overall finance & accounting.

Security/Confidentiality: Ensures the confidentiality of all Emeraude, L’Azalee and other cruises projects’ documents and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Others: Fluent in both Vietnamese and English, in writing and speaking; Good computer skills: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook; Honest & independent
