Finance Business Partner

As a Finance Business Partner for our Logistics business, the role is to provide support and advice to the LeL Business Units (Express, Transport, Fulfilment, Crossborder, Corporate Functions) from a financial perspective. High level responsibilities include:
▪ Business partnering: Partner and advise Business Unit management in driving business and financial performance
▪ Financial planning: Coordinate financial planning and monitor progress against plan
▪ Reporting and analysis: Report and benchmark BU performance across countries
▪ Projects: Drive finance and planning projects (e.g. process improvement, automation, etc.)

The role will report to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis. However, the role will collaborate with the following departments (but not limited to):
▪ Finance Controllership team
▪ Business Units (Express, Transport, Fulfilment, Crossborder, Corporate Functions)
▪ HR
▪ Business Intelligence
▪ Technology

Role scope includes the following (but not limited to):
▪ Business Partnering
o Drive monthly BU P&L dialogue with BU management
o Provide insightful, timely and value-added input on key financial topics
o Work across locations and if needed functionality to ensure that plans are integrate
▪ Financial planning
o Develop and maintain the P&L budget and forecast for one (or more) of the LeL BUs
o Produce robust forecasts that achieve business objectives
▪ Reporting and analysis
o Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts and actuals
o Partner Finance Controllership team on P&L and B/S management
o Track and control the budgets for CAPEX and overhead expenses for the BU
o Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the BU
▪ Projects and business cases
o Partner BU management on specific BU projects (e.g. ratecards, process improvement, system design)
o Drive FP&A process improvement initiatives (e.g. automation, streamlining)
o Any other ad-hoc function assigned by the Management

▪ Bachelor Degree (knowledge of Accounting is a plus)
▪ 2-4 years of financial/business analysis working experience
▪ Interest in logistics business
▪ Willing to be hands-on and advanced proficiency in Excel is a must
▪ System-savvy (preferably knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, C++, Python)
▪ Exceptional analytical and numerical skills
▪ Experience in working with large data sets (preferably knowledge of one or more of the following: Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI)
▪ Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
▪ Fluency in English
▪ Able to start immediately or within short notice
