Finance and Risk Consulting Manager (Non-Financial Services)

Introduction:
We are currently seeking Manager level based on experiences for our offices in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh

As a Manager within our regionalised consulting practice, you have the opportunity to build a strong consulting practice and team. You will work in multi-disciplinary engagement teams to deliver complex solutions to our clients. The client base includes multi-nationals, state-owned and private enterprises. You will work on comprehensive engagements aligned to your educational background, experience and interests, and the needs of our clients. You may work with several competencies in the Consulting practice to deliver these engagements. Your main focus competencies are:

 Finance Consulting – We help clients meet the continuous pressures and demands by stakeholders to optimise the value being obtained from the finance function through efficiency, control and business insight. We provide a wide variety of services within the finance transformation space including (but not limited to) finance function operations improvement, fast close projects, cost allocation development, enterprise performance management (e.g. management reporting, etc.), assistance in ERP implementations and establishment of shared services.

 Risk Consulting (Non-FS Industry) - We help clients meet the increasing demands of regulators, shareholders and other stakeholders to ensure robust and reliable approaches to governance, risk management and compliance with regulations. We provide a full suite of governance, risk management and compliance services covering the assessment, design and implementation of governance, risk management, compliance and internal control frameworks, performing board effectiveness assessments, risk assessments, development of risk appetite, tolerances and early warning systems to internal audit department evaluations and set-up and outsource internal audits.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide and/or manage consulting services (primarily but not limited to finance and risk non-FS consulting) to help clients to work smarter and grow faster
• Enhance presence and explore consulting opportunities in Vietnam
• Develop and sustain solid relationships with clients
• Manage pipeline and go-to-market with service offerings
• Work closely with contacts in other PwC territories within ASEANZ for support to deliver projects, drive opportunity and pipelines
• Manage team including resourcing management and coaching staff members and enhancing their capabilities

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree is desirable in Finance, Accounting and/or Industrial Engineering. Certified Public Accountant License, a plus
• Has solid experience around 5 -8 years above within the consulting practice and/or industry
• Has good understanding on finance process, accounting, business process, internal controls, ERP and EPM systems and organisational structures and familiarity with applicable legislative and regulatory framework
• Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving capabilities
• Strong leadership skills, business acumen, self-motivation and direction
• Intellectual rigour (including knowledge of analytics and quantitative techniques), flexibility and agility
• Excellent teamwork, inter-personal, relationship and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Fluent in business English (written and verbal) and willing to travel (locally and abroad)

Reporting structure and key relationships:
• Reporting to Consulting Director or Senior Manager
• Leading a team of Senior Associates (supervisors) and/or Associates
