Field Technical Officer - Crop Protection - Temporary contract

With the expand of our commercial activities in Vietnam, we are looking for Field Technical Officer (major in Crop Protection) with contract in 6 months, to join the team to support for the marketing and sales support of TOTAL spray mineral oils in Viet Nam, covering both the pesticidal and adjuvant oils.

Based in Gia Lai or Can Tho, with frequent travel to highland and Mekong delta.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Responsible for field trials and research on the oils application in control of a range of agricultural and horticultural pests and disease.
• Assistant with the Sales Manager to support the marketing activity.
• Work closely with the business partners to promote sales

ACTIVITIES
• Prepare field/demo trial and research protocols, and undertake field test and collect/analyze experimental data.
• Compile the field trial and research report.
• Assistant the National Plant Protection Institute with obtaining approval.
• Provide technical support and training to the Sales Manager, business partners and growers.
• Assist with design and fabrication of marketing tools and materials.
• Handle with the customer and grower complaints related to the product quality and phytotoxicity.

• University graduate or Master of Engineering with major in Biotechnology, Plant protection and relevant
• Be familiar with the plant protection and agrochemical market status and marketing strategy in the country
• Good English and Computer skills using Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent oral expression and writing capacity.
• Good team player to work with colleagues with other business segments
• English & Vietnamese proficiency.
