Facilities Management Supervisor

Job Summary

Responsible in providing assistance to Facilities Manager with regard to the overall logistical requirements of the facilities management section (budget planning and deployment, project management, building maintenance, overall manpower and centralized deployment of contract personnel, company car administration and maintenance and others) and observance of company policies and procedures in all transactions, with the objective of timely execution and deployment of respective resources in support to the needs of the section.

Accountabilities

The incumbent will be responsible for providing assistance to the Facilities Manager with regard to the overall logistical requirements of the facilities management section.

Key Result Areas
1. Responsible for providing assistance for the budget planning and deployment of the section.
2. Create purchase requisitions of the section and issue the same for approval. This includes proper monitoring with regard to its timely delivery and execution, with due collaboration to respective stakeholders.
3. Responsible for the overall and centralized deployment of contractors based on issued works orders of the different departments.
4. Responsible for project management deployment and execution related to building and road maintenance under this section.
5. Responsible for providing assistance for the centralized repair, maintenance and proper documentation of company cars.
6. Maintain good interpersonal relationships among peers to ensure safe, reliable and efficient overall plant performances.
7. Show a positive attitude towards the company goals and objectives.
8. Ensures adherence to company rules and regulations and actively participate in company-sponsored programs.
9. Strictly complies with corporate governance and principles, such as but not limited to Safety, Environmental, and Code of Conduct and Discipline.
10. May perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Job Specifications / Competencies
1. Possess a bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or its equivalent working experience.
2. Have at least 2 years work experiences related to Facilities Management in the power or heavy industries, in a support role capacity.
3. Has a positive attitude & strong advocacy of safe work practices and procedures
4. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Good English reading and writing skills.
5. Must possess proficient skills in SAP
6. Must posses’ proficient skills with Microsoft Office software.
7. Strong belief in AES values and Principles
8. Good analytical skills. Process and results oriented person.
