Facilities Engineer – Hai Phong or Hai Duong

• Analyze mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions, identify problems in design, plan, manage and deliver multiple projects in the North.
• Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP services and report to the Facilities Manager on the same.
• Manage the day to day work of the Facilities Management team, has to provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.
• In conjunction with the document controller, ensure that the filing/logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor the same.
• Manage to review Contractor’s installation method statements/risk assessment, Fit out works drawings, and oversee the work of subordinate staff contact architects or Engineer, Review Contractor’s drawings against the design drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to Facilities Manager with appropriate comments/approval within the specified contractual period.
• Monitor and promote health and safety on the site. Record and report any breaches to the Project Manager. If required stop the construction works if unsafe practices are being followed.
• Maintain an on-going list of mechanical services defects for contractor’s remedial action, undertake final project snagging and prepare a list of defects for Contractor’s action.
• Review and comment on the Contractor’s Operation and Maintenance manuals, Tenant Fit-out works Guidelines
• Work closely with Project Management Team during the inspections, handover of projects.

• Maintain and improve the relationships with all internal departments, suppliers, agents and contractors;
• Promote team works among subordinates and fellow staff;
• Perform other tasks assigned by Facilities Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering
• At least 5 years of construction project management or facility management experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Project Management software
• Familiar with industrial projects
• Strong problem-solving and communication skill
• Well organization & time management
• Customer oriented mindset
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
