Executive Product Development

*Reports to
Manager or Assistant Manager, PD
* Purpose
(Why the position exists, within which limits and according to which objectives?)
- Co-ordinate and execute product development in company
- Conduct market survey and analysis
- Initiate to propose new / improved products
- Cost performance improvement proposal
- New / improved product schedule control and coordination
- Propose and check product function claim and labeling to make sure in compliance with law
- TCR contribution.

1) New / improved products:
- Set up schedule to control from development step until finishing zero batch
- MI and P&A calculation and coorporate to propose price basing on product value
- Listing samples and product use test
- Conduct consumer research ( home visit, benchmark, HUT)
- Collaborate with MKT to propose product concept and do researches for confirmation
- Collaborate with MKT to initiate package design and evaluation
- Color proof control and judgement
2) TCR contribution
- Initiate and promote plan to contribute to company profit through TCR activities by proposing new package design, structure, supplier, etc.
3) Cost performance improvement:
- Initiate and propose product concept or new idea to improve product performance as well as improve product value (after launching)
4) Analysis & Report:
- Consumer behavior analysis: benchmark, homevisit
- Collect data of market, estimate future plan
- HUT result
- MI, P&A simulation and proposal
5) Law/Regulation compliance:
- Gather information for application: formulation, specification, testing method, Certificate of Analysis (COA), product name, Art-work, etc.
- Request Letter of Authority (LOA) & Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) for import product (to Origin Country).
- Consult & Support in Over-claim checking: Product concept /Catch copy/POSM
- Check INCI list, necessary information concerning with label regulation
- Overall Art-Work check (Cooperate with MKT)
- Claim support data (Bacteria test, Performance Test,…etc)
6) Other:
- Do assigment from direct superior

- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, chemical background is priority
- Working experience:
At least 1-2 years experience, has experience of product knowledge, understand well production system.
- Ability : Basic market/consumer research, planning, trouble solving, project management, coordination…
- Creativity :Good and effective communication and negotiation skills
