Executive Director (Based in Hoi An, Quang Nam)

The Executive Director will oversee the day-to-day management, programs and operations of the organization and enterprises in Vietnam.
Responsibilities
• Manage and lead STREETS in a manner that supports and guides the organization’s purpose and mission.
• Report to and work closely with the Founder and Chair to ensure the objectives and established, award-winning standards are maintained at the highest levels.
• Oversee and maintain the service and operating guidelines and standards of all STREETS enterprises, including the restaurant and culinary cooking demonstration and tours.
• Direct, manage and collaborate with the entire STREETS team of over 50 Vietnamese professional staff.
• Ensure the ongoing education, residential and Life Skills programs are carefully managed to STREETS’ established international standards.
• Prepare the annual budget with the in-country management team and ensure the quarterly performance objectives are achieved.
• Maintain and continually improve the employment, human resource and administrative practices, policies and procedures according to STREETS and as applicable the laws of the US and Vietnam.
• Establish and maintain on-going relationships with various tourism, hospitality and NGO organizations to support and enhance STREETS’ mission.
• Oversee marketing and other communications, including social media.
• Provide input into strategic development plans and other duties as assigned by the Chair.

Qualifications
• College Degree or Professional Hospitality/Tourism/Culinary Certificate (preference given for International study experience).
• Minimum 5 years executive management role (supervisory role not sufficient) in hospitality, tourism, education or related business.
• Demonstrated “critical eye” ability necessary to manage the operating details that make STREETS one of the most successful programs of its kind.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (will be tested in interview process).
• Excellent oral and written English with strong interpersonal skills (will be tested in interview process).

• Commitment to the STREETS mission of working with disadvantaged youth.
• Must live in or relocate to Hoi An at start of employment, one time relocation expense provided.
• Flexible work schedule, including evening, overtime and holiday as needed.
• Vietnamese Citizen preferred.
• 100% Non-smokers only.
