Event Team Leader

Report to: Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications
Work location: Ecopark Township, Hung Yen

Job Objective:
This role will be responsible for the management and on-site execution of key events that make an impact to BUV target audience, including event planning, developing meeting and event strategy, vendor and venue procurement, contracting and dealings, provision of meeting planning services/support, managing budgets.

Key responsibilities:
• Plan and implement creative and engaging events in coordination with other marketing communications activities
• Develop and propose relevant in-house event plans which integrate well with BUV’s strategic marketing communications objectives
• Work with relevant agencies in big scale events for smooth and effective event management
• Identify collaboration opportunities with external business partners in events, sponsorship and joint marketing activities
• Lead event preparation and manage all deliverables within deadlines
• Provide hands-on leadership on-site during the events
• Maintain budget and reports
• Adhere to legal, health and safety regulations
• Keep up to date with marketing developments, trends and tools so as to share findings with other marketing team members
• Take initiatives and lead other marketing assignments
• Propose and pursue a professional development plan in line with your individual’s area of expertise and British University Vietnam

MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
• Vietnamese national
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a relevant discipline
• At least 5 years in event management
