Mô tả công việc
The ESL teacher is a member of Training Department, being responsible for guiding and managing the group of students assigned. It is also his/her responsibilities to develop and deliver lessons tailored for different group of students at all levels. Teaching should be delivered as scheduled, including academic management (meeting with volunteer, tutoring, and advanced training). In addition, the position is to support English team/ head of training department to initiate ideas/ recommendations for improving training quality.
The ESL teacher has to collect and report accurate and detailed records, progress, and study outcomes of students. It is also expect that s/he maintain rules and regulations in classrooms.
The ESL teacher is also in charge to encourage and guide students to successfully follow KOTO values and learning goal.
* Responsibilities
- Implement KPIs of the department to improve training quality and output standard
- Complete training of 24-month course, and 6-month course for WEE2 achieving 100% performance (very good: 20%, good: 40%, average: 20%, and acceptable: 10%)
- Teach English full-time: preparation of lectures, teaching, tutoring, discussion, practice, marking, and assessment
- Attend regular activities of training centre, translate, support admission process, fundraising event, and other community activities

- Understand and ensure the goal set with head of department to implement KPIs
- Set up curriculum, select, develop, and teach according to the curriculum for restaurant and hospitality service, training material of a vocational centre – flexibly apply teaching methods, experience, role-play, and maximize interaction with foreign volunteers/ foreigners to achieve the teaching goal
- Control implementation of activities, calendars to ensure training quality of the class
- Strengthen procedure in assessing learning outcome after each module; Provide regular feedbacks on learning process of foreign language, and report the progress to head of department/ training department
- Identify and training skills to develop working skills in an independent or team-work manner, communicate effectively and confidently in the workplace
- Work closely with supervisor and staff at restaurants at least 4 hours per week to observe and evaluate capacity of trainees in practice and work to provide additional training, further tutoring, or teaching on demand as the nature of the work require
- Maintain schedule (weekly), and support volunteer in their activities
- Enhance sense of responsibility in preservation and use of assets handed-over in class, classrooms, or workplace
- Support and provide additional support for trainees not yet at acceptable level
- Work with volunteers to develop and implement training on skills necessary for different subjects. Review and give feedback for head of training department on volunteer performance.
- Participate in class management
- Other tasks as assigned by head of department

Qualifications / Experience
• College/ University English Language Teaching Degree
• Experience in English teaching area
• There is the International English Certificate of IELTS 6.0 or above (or equivalent)
• TESOL or CELTA certificates are preferred
• Certificate in TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills
