Job summary
The PE Teaching Assistant supports children with their learning activities, working closely with the teacher to make sure pupils enjoy learning in a safe and caring setting.
Job Responsibilities
Equipment
1. Set –up equipment for classes.
2. Take- down and store equipment after classes.
3. Retrieve equipment.
4. Keep running inventory of PE equipment, including broken equipment.
5. Maintain equipment – to ensure safety.
6. Maintenance of equipment and organization of storage rooms
7. Assist in purchasing of local equipment
Gym and Fields
1. Maintain as instructed by divisional PE teacher.
Assist PE Teacher
1. Teaching skills, in small groups planning with PE teacher
2. Refereeing game play in class as needed.
3. Computer input of data for PE class.
4. Assist with fitness testing/ scoring of quizzes, etc.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
● Technical Knowledge: BA degree – Physical Education Training
● Year of experience: Experienced working with children is preferable.
● Strong English Skills
● Familiar with technology programs, Goggle Suite etc.
● The ability to communicate in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing clearly.
● Good working knowledge of sports.
● Good problem solver
● Ability to Collaborate with others.
● Able to take on PE class when teacher is absent.
● Required to lead an after school activity.
● Attend PD offerings and workshops as required.
● Able to swim to assist teacher and student as assigned.
● Should be comfortable being on feet for long periods.
● Lifting and moving equipment required
● Year of experience: Experienced working with children is preferable.

Located in the quickly growing Saigon South Urban Development, SSIS is just two and a half miles south of the current city center - District One in Ho Chi Minh City.
