Environmental, Health and Safety (RSC/EHS) Executive

We are looking for a talented Responsible Supply Chain & Environmental Health and Safety Executive (RSC/EHS Executive) for our RSC/EHS activities within our Supply Chain in Vietnam. The RSC/EHS Executive will be responsible for audit and capability building on RSC/EHS matters at third-party manufacturers and its sub-contractors on several activities and projects, and will report to Operations Manager. The position is based in Hanoi with regular travel to sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that our suppliers comply with our Third Party Code of Conduct, through proper communication, guidance and training, whenever necessary
• Conduct RSC/EHS audits and capability building to contracted manufacturing suppliers and their subcontractors
• Inform the audits findings and recommendations for improvements to Vestergaard management through high quality reports
• Support the development and implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at contracted manufacturing suppliers
• Drive / Participate / Lead continuous RSC/EHS improvement / projects across the whole Supply Chain
• Develop and propose technically practical and cost effective solutions to close the RSC/EHS gaps
• Ensure that the RSC/EHS aspects related to development projects, such as new processes, new chemicals and equipment, are properly assessed prior to and during trials, scale-up and full implementation

• Good understanding of Supply Chain relationships with manufacturing suppliers, practice networking with manufacturing EHS managers or personnel with diversity in culture and business models “to get the work done through others”
• Audit skills
• Effective communication skills
• Expert on MS Office tools
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese

Education and Experience

• Minimum Bachelor of Sciences in any of these areas: environmental sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering, food, pharmaceutical, social sciences
• Experience in working environment certified with SA 8000:2014 or equivalent social accountabilities management system is an advantage
• Familiar with ISO14001:2015; ISO9001:2015; OHSAS 18001:2015/ ISO 45001
• Have EHS certificates on international level such as: NEBOSH, iOSH is an advantage
• Have knowledge about EHS & labor regulations
• Minimum 5 years of handling similar job in textile or chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing companies
• Experience in project management
• Experience in capability building to suppliers on EHS and GMP
