Environment Engineer

• Take the main responsibility of waste water treatment plant (ETP) operation and control the quality of waste water treatment before discharge to outside.
• Manage all activities relating to solid waste and air mission
• Develop all operational processes of ETP and related works
• Prepares, implements and maintains applicable environmental training programs for the organization. This includes delivery and documentation of required training.
• Participates in internal EHS compliance audits across all operating companies to evaluate program and training effectiveness and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Manage, order and maintain kinds of chemical for ETP stable operation
• Develop the plan of waste water sample taking to testing at each process of WW treatment
• Work with related department in the plant to correct and prevent issues relating to waste water treatment
• Make the daily report of ETP operation & documented, report to direct manager
• Control all legal documents and reports relating to ETP operation & related works
• Provide technical and regulatory support for day-to-day environmental compliance
• Build up the ETP equipment maintenance programs & work with Engineering team to do the maintenance implementation
• Evaluates environmental implications of project activities to identify regulatory requirements.
• Participates in environmental regulatory agency inspections.
• Performs special assignments within the company to develop and implement solutions to specific environmental needs.
• Proactively contribute ideas/suggestions to the environment sustainability development (e.g. waste water recycle, water consumption reduction, energy saving, 3R program& zero to landfill program…etc.)
• Drives the execution and continuous improvement of environmental programs and sustainability initiatives.
• Control budget and cost management for ETP operation
• Tasks/jobs will be assigned by direct manager

Education:
• Degree in engineering, technical environment/chemical or relevant sciences or equivalent.

Job Experience:
• 2+ year of WWTP operation and relevant environmental experience
• Must be able to work without direct manager to accomplish goals and meet schedules and work as a team leader/facilitator to address specific issues.
• Experience with regulatory programs preferred.
• Must be comfortable and competent at interfacing with governmental agencies.
• Must have the ability to read and grasp environmental regulations, technical documents and mathematical calculations.

Knowledge and Skills
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with various departments.
• Organizational skills, detail-orientated and ability to meet deadlines with high degree of accuracy.
• Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook, SAP and ability to learn to use proprietary databases and other computer based applications
• Possess strong problem-solving, critical thinking, reasoning and decision-making skills

- Working time: 08:00am - 16:30pm from Monday to Friday
- Shuttle buses are provided for staffs from Ho Chi Minh city & Bien Hoa city to the Plant
