English Translator/interpreter

In order to carry out this mission efficiently, Systra is looking for a professional and competent Vietnamese national staff who can fill the following vacant position for its Hanoi based project office.

The English Translator/Interpreter is in charge of:

+ Translating project documents, materials and reports from Vietnamese into English and from English to Vietnamese
+ Interpretation at meetings and workshops with relevant authorities & agencies, making sure that meeting or conference’s contents are understood exactly and properly
+ Writing meeting minutes, and other related duties
+ Accompanying foreign experts to the field when required
+ Supporting administration and document management works such as processing and filing documents in PC environment
+ Reporting directly to the director
+ Receiving and delivering in and out letter, fax, if required
+ Preparing and arranging documents & schedule for meetings
+ Supporting Vietnamese project team and expatriate team in language issues
+ Other works as required by Project Director

+ Graduation from foreign language university – English department
+ Good English communication in reading, writing and speaking
+ Experience in civil works is preferable
+ At least 5 years experience of English translator/interpreter
