Engineering Technician IV

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair and troubleshooting of all mechanical equipments and machineries in accordance with standard engineering practices.
-Capture maintenance plan of Planner and ensure the plan is completed on time.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES :
-Repair, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipments and machineries in the processing
-Line in a safe and efficient manner. Make adjustments and recommend improvements to avoid
recurrence of the problem
-Plan maintenance activities (PM02) by collecting the information; capture the situation of machine, equipment.
-Perform and AMM work orders (PM 01, 02, 03 04) and keeps record in the system.
-Review and create the task list to optimize PM03 (5W+1H)
-Monitoring the situation of Spare part in Technical Store, recommend spare part for equipment
Issue work instruction for maintenance task.
-Perform daily routine check thru CDM checklist, suggest improvements for more effectively.
-Make a proper shift turn over to co-mechanic for better coordination
-Representative for team to ensure the quality of PM03 implementation, report in DOR, SHO.
-Must follow to the company’s rules and regulations and policies
-Must participate to the company’s programs for improvement on SAFETY, QUALITY and EFFECIENCY.
-Must attend to any meetings, seminars organized by the company, if required
-Performs other jobs within or with other departments/sections that maybe assigned by direct supervisor/ manager or designated OIC from time to time.
-Willing to extend overtime work if required.
-Coordinate with other sections/departments from time to time.
-Be the leader in SHO, ensure all information of previous shift is handover to next shift.
-Enhance self with job knowledge thru books, manual or computer aided systems and others.
-Work as a team
-Responsible and accountable on tasks and tools assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

- Educational Requirement: College graduate or University graduate related to engineering course related to Machine shop,/ Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics
- English Ability: can speak English, readable and understand the Manual book, Guideline, technical documents.
- Computer literacy: MS office
- Experience: at least 2 years in the field of mechanical equipment maintenance for college graduate or at least 1 years in the field of mechanical equipment maintenance for University graduate. Preferably in food manufacturing industry.
- With strong leadership ability.
- Working in shifts.
