Engineering Draughtsman

1. Prepare detail shop drawing for submission according to project requirement and client need within allocated budget and Powerwell’s standard design.
2. Clarify with Project Engineer if any special requirement for any particular project.
3. Clarify with Project Advisor any projects which require custom design in order to maintain Powerwell standard.
4. Evaluate feasibility of design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability budget, production costs, methods and market characteristics.
5. Modify and refine designs, using working models to confirm with customer specifications, production limitations or changes in design trends.
6. Establish and update library of Powerwell’s switchboard standard design for top quality engineering design.
7. To ensure the drawing and document for each project to be submitted as per scheduled.
8. Assist Project Engineer in management of drawing in compliance with SOP (QP-PRJ-03)
9. Prepare CAD documentation for projects from design to documentation stage.
10. Ensure all the drawings and related documents filling properly.
11. To assist on Junior AO for daily work task such as layout designing, single line correction, system operational and etc.
12. To help and helping estimator or Marketing Sketch Layout & Plot tender Drawing.
13. Other duties and task given by Management from time to time.

KEY PERFOMANCE INDEX (KPI)
1. 98% drawing submission date on time.
2. 95% drawing accuracy level for overall yearly project.

1. Certificate/ Diploma in AutoCAD with at least 2 years working experience in related field
2. Drafting knowledge in Electrical Switchboard design and able to apply the AutoCAD knowledge to speed up drawing preparation process.
