Engineer, Data Analyst (Cloud)

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Build and improve data architecture and systems for new and existing ETL pipelines.
• Execute SQL queries, provide recurring for ad-hoc requests.
• Collaborate with product team to define data model specifications.
• Provide findings from data analysis to production team, lead the process of making good decisions based on data.
• Run data modeling to bring order and insight to complex datasets.
• Verify the output of data transferring to keep high quality of the outputs.
• Design, develop and maintain visualisation tools to empower partner teams.
• Work on data systems with high requirements about availability, scalability, security.
• Documentation.

FOR SENIOR LEVEL
• Take lead on technical best practices, work on architect and guide internal research.
• Coach other junior team members to help them reach their maximum potential.
• Build a good team culture of humility, commitment, humor and customer service.

WHAT WE NEED

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a data engineer or analytical role with special proficiency in SQL.
• Excellent understanding of database architectures and ETL pipelines.
• Good visualization and presentation skills, able to provide insights from the data by using BI tools such as Tableau, Redash, Data Studio, etc.
• Effective using one programming languages such as Python, R, Javascript, etc. is a big plus.
• Experiences on auto testing the data.

FOR SENIOR LEVEL
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience with understanding many types of data warehouses in details.
• Good judgments among solutions for one problem.
• Solid experience in building ETL architecture and design database.
• Good leadership and effective communication in both verbal and nonverbal are preferred.
